Organic red amaranth, botanically known as Amaranthus cruentus, is the most colorful of the varieties in the same family. Growing its seeds is quick and easy, so even those with less than a green thumb can grow its distinctive leaves, delicate in appearance and flavor, achieving excellent results.

How can I grow it?

Growing organic red amaranth microgreens is quick and easy, even at home.
Pre-soaking isn't necessary, so plant the seeds in your preferred substrate and leave them in the dark for the first 3-5 days, until they're fully germinated, watering them a couple of times a day. Then, move your organic red amaranth sprouts into the light and wait another 8-10 days. Once the microgreens have grown tall and developed their characteristic reddish hue, they'll be ready to harvest and eat.
