Description

Organic Red Atriplice

Organic red Atriplice seeds, also known as mountain spinach, botanical name Atriplex hortensis, are an ancient variety of European origin. This variety is particularly sought after and used due to its unmistakable color. For this reason, it is prized not only for the production of microgreens, but also for edible flowers and as an ornamental plant.
Interestingly, organic red Atriplice seeds are now classified as a rare species to be protected and propagated to preserve the diversity of ancient crops.

How can I grow it?

Producing organic red Atriplice microgreens is quick and easy, even at home.
Organic red Atriplice seeds do not require any soaking before sowing.
To create the right humidity for your red Atriplice seeds, we recommend covering the container you'll be sowing them in and keeping them in the dark for the first 4-5 days while they germinate. Afterward, you can move them into sunlight. Organic red Atriplice microgreens grow quickly and can be harvested after just 10-12 days.
For gardening enthusiasts and those looking to add a unique touch of color to their home, we recommend sowing the red Atriplice in a pot with potting soil and growing it in a sunny spot, watering regularly. After 30-40 days, you'll be able to pick the first purple-red leaves, while the fully mature ornamental plant will take 60-70 days to appear.

How can I eat it?

Organic red Atriplice microgreens have a slightly earthy flavor reminiscent of spinach. Both the microgreens and the edible flowers are perfect as edible garnishes for soups, salads, and side dishes.

Organic red Atriplice seeds may contain traces of soy, mustard, wheat, gluten and grasses.
Store the seeds in a cool, ventilated place, with a temperature between 8° and 20° C, protected from atmospheric agents, changes in humidity and sunlight.
