Organic Calabrian Broccoli
Calabrian broccoli seeds, botanical name Brassica oleracea botrytis cymosa (var. italica), sprout from a thin white stem and small green leaves. They have a delicate flavor, typical of cabbage, and are rich in nutrients: good for the palate and the body, they will be the ingredient you will no longer be able to do without.
How can I grow it?
Producing organic Calabrian broccoli sprouts is quick and easy, even at home.
To speed up germination, we recommend soaking your seeds for about 8 hours. Place them in a container and cover with warm water, then drain, discarding all the soaking water.
At this point, you can continue rinsing your organic sprouts at least a couple of times a day, keeping an eye out for any water stagnation in the container. In just 3-5 days, your organic Calabrian broccoli sprouts will be ready to enjoy.
How can I eat it?
Organic Calabrian broccoli, second only to cavolo nero in terms of sulforaphane content, is a true superfood. We recommend eating it raw, added to salads or bruschetta, or as a side dish for meat and fish.
Organic Calabrian broccoli seeds may contain traces of soy, mustard, wheat, gluten, and grasses.
Store the seeds in a cool, ventilated place, with a temperature between 8° and 20° C, protected from atmospheric agents, changes in humidity and sunlight.
