Organic Carrot
Organic carrot seeds, botanically known as Daucus carota, take a few days longer to develop than other varieties. The result, however, will be worth the wait: carrot sprouts and microgreens are delicate in flavor and texture. They will enrich your dishes without overpowering the flavor of other ingredients, making them tastier and healthier.
How can I grow it?
Producing organic carrot sprouts is quick and easy, even at home.
The first step to growing perfect organic carrot sprouts is to soak them: place them in a container (a jar, for example) and add water until the water level is two to three inches above the seeds. After eight hours, drain your seeds, place them back in the container, and store them away from light.
By continuing to rinse your seeds with water at least 2-3 times a day, after about a week you will have delicious organic carrot sprouts to enjoy.
How can I eat it?
Organic carrot sprouts and microgreens, thanks to their delicate flavor and the thick foliage created by their leaves, are perfect for any side dish or salad. Whether paired with traditional or sophisticated dishes, such as fish and meat, organic carrots will enhance every flavor.
Organic carrot seeds may contain traces of soy, mustard, wheat, gluten and grasses.
Store the seeds in a cool, ventilated place, with a temperature between 8° and 20° C, protected from atmospheric agents, changes in humidity and sunlight.
