Organic Flax
Organic Flax microgreens are ready in just a few days, and you don't need a green thumb to get excellent results. They're therefore the ideal choice for anyone looking for a fresh, delicate, and nutritious product to enrich their diet. They have a nutty, slightly earthy flavor and a crunchy texture.
How can I grow it?
Producing organic flax sprouts is quick and easy, even at home.
Flax is characterized by a mucilaginous seedThis means that, when it comes into contact with water, it develops a mucous membrane around itself to ensure proper and constant humidity throughout germination. Therefore, we recommend not soaking the seeds, planting them too densely, or overwatering them, especially in the early days of growth.
Store the seeds in the dark, watering them sparingly, until they fully germinate after 3-5 days. Then, place them under a light source until they're ready to harvest, after just 10-12 days.
How can I consume it?
Flax microgreens are characterized by a crunchy texture and a nutty, earthy flavor. Thanks to their delicate texture, they're ideal for eating fresh as an addition to salads, sandwiches, main courses, and side dishes.
Organic flax may contain traces of soy, mustard, wheat, gluten, and grasses.
Store the seeds in a cool, ventilated place, with a temperature between 8° and 20° C, protected from atmospheric agents, changes in humidity and sunlight.
