Organic non GMO seeds for microgreens

Organic Peppermint microgreens have small green leaves that contain a fresh, mentholated aroma, like that of the adult plant. What makes them special, however, are their tender and slightly crunchy texture on the palate, a higher nutrient content and the fact that they can be grown year-round right at home.

Description

Organic Peppermint

The seeds of organic peppermint, botanically known as Mentha piperita, are very small and just from the scent they give off you can already guess the pungent freshness of the leaves that will develop. This variety has an abundant growth and you only need a few leaves to bring a breath of fresh, fragrant air to your every dish.

How can I grow it?

Producing organic Peppermint microgreens is quick and easy, even at home.
Pre-soaking is not necessary, but we recommend you to keep the seeds in the refrigerator for 3/4 days before sowing; this step helps stimulating their germination will, as they often have uneven growth.
After planting, cover them and leave them in the dark until they have germinated, spraying with water sparingly and often. This step can take 4/6 days, depending on the temperature and humidity conditions in the room. Then you can place your organic mint sprouts in the light and let them develop their small leaves, about two weeks after sowing.

How can I eat it?

Organic Peppermint microgreens are extremely versatile in the kitchen: even a small amount will be enough to enhance the taste and appearance of any dish, sweet or savoury. We recommend using them as a final garnish in your dishes so that they do not wilt during cooking.

Organic Peppermint seeds may contain traces of soya, mustard, wheat, gluten and grasses.

Store the seeds in a cool, ventilated place with a temperature between 8° and 20° C, away from weather, changes in humidity and sunlight.
