The organic Lemon Marigold, botanical name Tagetes tenuifolia, is native to South America and is commonly known as ‘Lemon gem’. This variety is distinguished both by its bright, jagged leaves with a pleasantly citrusy aftertaste and by its small, beautiful yellow flowers that bloom in summer.

How can I grow it?

To grow your organic Lemon Tagetes microgreens and edible flowers in the best of ways, the ideal substrate to use is soil, which is as rich and well-draining as possible: place the seeds in it, then cover them with another light layer of soil. Water regularly, ensuring that the soil is never completely dry, but taking care not to create water stagnation. By doing this, your organic Lemon Marigold microgreens will be ready in 12-16 days, while you can harvest its most developed leaves after 26-30 days.
