Organic red Amaranth, botanical name Amaranthus cruentus, is the most colourful of the varieties of the same family. Cultivating its seeds is quick and easy, so even those without a green thumb will be able to grow its characteristic leaves, delicate in appearance and taste, with excellent results.

How can I grow it?
Producing organic red Amaranth microgreens is quick and easy, even at home.
Pre-soaking is not necessary, so plant the seeds in the substrate of your choice and leave them in the dark for the first 3/5 days, until they have fully germinated, and water them a couple of times a day. After that, move your organic red Amaranthus sprouts to the light and wait for another 8/10 days. When the microgreens have grown in height and developed their characteristic reddish hue, they are ready to be harvested and eaten.
