Description

Organic Buckwheat

Organic Buckwheat seeds, botanical name Fagopyrum esculentum, are very easy to grow. In a few days, they will give birth to seedlings with green leaves and pinkish stems, rich in fibre and protein and a delicate, slightly sour and spicy flavour. Once you have tried this new way of eating buckwheat, it will be hard to go back!

How can I grow it?

Producing organic Buckwheat sprouts and microgreens is quick and easy, even at home.
First of all, we suggest you soak the seeds for 10/12 hours in cold water. After that, place them in a tray and keep them covered for 4/5 days; this step is essential to promote proper moisture inside your container, so that the seeds germinate as evenly as possible.
After 4/5 days, you can place the first sprouts in the sunlight. To have excellent organic Buckwheat microgreens, we advise you to wait a total of 10/12 days, watering them daily.

How can I eat it?

Organic Buckwheat microgreens have a delicate taste with light citrus and slightly spicy notes. They enrich any recipe with colour and flavour, without covering the taste of other foods, and are especially perfect in salads, sandwiches and smoothies.

Organic Buckwheat seeds may contain traces of soy, mustard, gluten and grasses.

Store seeds in a cool, ventilated place, with temperature between 8° and 20° C, away from weather, changes in humidity and direct sunlight.
