Black Kale, as well as the other species of the same family, is one of the most common and popular varieties in the world of microgreens, even for those who are just starting out in this field, and it is easy to see why: it’s simple to grow, has a crisp and delicate taste of fresh cabbage and is a concentrate of well-being for our organism.

Description

Organic black Kale
Organic black Kale seeds, botanical name Brassica oleracea acephala sabellica, grow in just a few days and require no special care. Thus, almost without realising it, you will obtain beautiful and tasty seedlings that will enhance the colour and flavour of your dishes: with white stems and small green leaves, they are very rich in sulforaphane, and have a delicate taste reminiscent of the adult vegetable.

How can I grow it?
Producing organic black Kale sprouts is quick and easy, even at home.
To ensure the best growth of your organic black Kale sprouts and microgreens, we recommend keeping them in the dark for the first 4/5 days after sowing, until they have completed the sprouting process. Once they have finished, you can move your seedlings into sunlight so that they develop their characteristic colour and flavour to the fullest. By continuing to water them little and often, you can harvest them after a total of 10/12 days.

How can I eat it?
Black Kale is the variety richest in sulforaphane, a natural substance with great antioxidant power. Thanks to this and their mild cabbage flavour, they are a perfect food as a base for salads, or as a garnish for sandwiches, soups and main courses.

Organic black Kale seeds may contain traces of soy, mustard, wheat, gluten and grasses.
Store the seeds in a cool, ventilated place, between 8° and 20° C, away from weather, changes in humidity and sunlight.
