2,50 € – 35,20 €
Komatsuna is the Asian cousin of our cabbage. Native to Japan, it is also known as “mustard-spinach” because its small leaves have an aroma somewhere between the pungent spiciness of the one and the delicacy of the other. If you are looking for something original and tasty, but without overdoing it, Komatsuna is definitely for you!
Description
Organic red Komatsuna
The red Komatsuna, botanical name Brassica rapa perviridis, is an oriental brassica. Like the other varieties of the same family, it grows quickly and develops microgreens with greenish-white stems and reddish-tinged leaves with a pleasantly spicy flavour.
How can I grow it?
Producing organic sprouts and microgreens of red Komatsuna is quick and easy, even at home.
To grow them properly, we recommend that you keep them in the dark for the first 2/4 days while the seeds complete sprouting.
After just 4/5 days, you can already enjoy the spicy and unique flavour of the organic red Komatsuna sprouts. If you wish to harvest the microgreens, on the other hand, you only need to wait 10/12 days in total to be able to enjoy them to the full.
How can I eat it?
Organic red Komatsuna microgreens, thanks to their spicy taste, are perfect to add to your salads, soups and sandwiches to bring colour and goodness.
Organic red Komatsuna seeds may contain traces of soy, mustard, wheat, gluten and grasses.
Store seeds in a cool, ventilated place, with temperature between 8° and 20° C, away from weather, changes in humidity and sunlight.
