Organic purslane microgreens, botanically known as Claytonia perfoliata, are characterized by small, bright green leaves and thin, pinkish stems. Growing the seeds is quick and easy, so even those without green fingers can grow its distinctive leaves, elegant and delicate in appearance and flavor.


How can I grow it?

Producing organic purslane microgreens is quick and easy, even at home.
Since it's a "hardy" variety, capable of growing even in less than ideal soil and temperature conditions, you can grow microgreens with ease: sprinkle the seeds in your preferred substrate and place the container in the dark, then mist it with water at least twice a day. After just 3-4 days, you'll see the first shoots appear; move them to the light and continue growing for another week. After 8-10 days, your organic Portulaca microgreens will be ready to enjoy.

Organic Portulaca microgreens have a fresh, delicate flavor with a pleasantly tart aftertaste. Colorful and tender, they're the perfect edible garnish for your recipes, including desserts, or a fresh, wholesome addition to salads, smoothies, and sandwiches.
