Description
Organic Aduzki Bean
The Aduzki bean, botanical name Vigna angularis, is an ancient bean of oriental origin mostly cultivated in the tropical areas of the planet, because it needs high humidity for growing correctly. Thanks to the many beneficial properties of this variety, today it is one of the most used beans for the production of non-GMO sprouts; it’s the flagship in the agricultural food sector of the land of the Rising Sun together with soy and mung bean.
How can I grow it?
Making organic Adzuki sprouts is quick and easy, even at home.
We recommend soaking the seed for 7-8 hours, this step is essential to allow the seed to germinate as evenly as possible. Subsequently, it is important to rinse and drain your organic Adzuki seeds 3-4 times a day, being very careful that the water does not settle and stagnate.
Keep going until ready after 4-5 days.
How can I eat it?
Adzuki’sorganic sprouts are ideal to add to any Oriental-inspired recipe. Alternatively, you can use them to add crunch and nutrients to your more classic recipes – such as salads, omelettes and soups – or, thanks to their delicate flavour, you can stir-fry them for a quick and easy side dish.
Organic Adzuki bean seeds may contain traces of soy, mustard, wheat, gluten and grasses.
Keep the seeds in a cool and ventilated place, with a temperature between 8° and 20° C, protected from atmospheric agents, changes in humidity and direct sunlight.
