1,80 18,15

Alfalfa sprouts, or alfalfa grass, are among the easiest to grow and, at the same time, extremely rich in nutrients: not only vegetable protein, but also vitamins and minerals. In just a few days, you will obtain tender sprouts with a delicate, slightly nutty flavour.

Description

Organic Alfalfa
Alfalfa, or alfalfa grass, botanical name Medicago sativa, is among the most widely used varieties for the production and consumption of sprouts in Europe and North America.

How can I grow it?
Producing organic Alfalfa sprouts is quick and easy, even at home.
We recommend soaking the seed for 5/6 hours; this step is essential to allow the seed to sprout as evenly as possible. Next, it is important to rinse and drain your organic Alfalfa seeds 2/3 times a day, taking care that the water does not settle and stagnate. To bring out the sweet, crunchy taste of organic Alfalfa sprouts, it is best to store your tray in a cool, dark place until the day before harvesting. Your organic Alfalfa sprouts will be ready to harvest in 5/6 days.

How can I eat it?
You can add organic Alfalfa sprouts to your salads, sandwiches and soups or enjoy them as raw food. Organic Alfalfa sprouts tend to wilt quickly, so we recommend storing them in the refrigerator and eating them within a day to fully enjoy their delicate flavour.
Organic Alfalfa seeds may contain traces of soy, mustard, wheat, gluten and grasses.
Store the seeds in a cool, ventilated place, with temperature between 8° and 20° C, away from weather, changes in humidity and direct sunlight.
