Organic Pumpkin

Organic squash microgreens, botanically known as Cucurbita moschata, are primarily grown in America, but in recent years they have become increasingly popular in Europe. The dark green leaves, with light green stems, have an intense flavor, with an unmistakable bitter aftertaste.

How can I grow it?

Producing organic pumpkin microgreens is quick and easy, even at home.
First, pre-soak the seeds for 2-4 hours to facilitate germination and promote uniform growth. Then, place them in a container with soil and leave them in the dark, watering them a couple of times a day for 5-6 days. After 2-3 days, you should see the first sprouts. At this point, you can move them into the light, continuing to water them regularly.
For full development of your organic pumpkin microgreens you will have to wait up to 15/17 days.

How can I eat it?

Organic Zucca microgreens have an intense, slightly sweet aroma with a bitter aftertaste. Use them to enhance the flavor of your cold dishes, or experiment with fresh, healthy smoothies and juices.

Organic pumpkin seeds may contain traces of soy, mustard, wheat, gluten, and grasses.
Store the seeds in a cool, ventilated place, with a temperature between 8° and 20° C, protected from atmospheric agents, changes in humidity and sunlight.
