Organic Celery
Organic celery sprouts, botanically known as Apium graveolens, are characterized by their intense flavor, stronger than that of the adult vegetable. They're rich in fiber and minerals, making them excellent for a healthy diet. Growing them requires a little time and attention, so we recommend them if you already have a good green thumb or if you're looking for a new botanical and culinary challenge.
How can I grow it?
Producing organic celery sprouts requires a little care and patience.
The seeds don't need soaking, so you can sprinkle them on the substrate and keep them in the dark, watering them twice a day, for a couple of weeks. After 12-15 days, the seeds will begin to germinate. At this point, you can place your sprouts in sunlight (or under warm artificial light) and water them for another 10-12 days.
After 24-28 days, the celery sprouts will be ready to harvest. Remember to cut them close to the root to preserve their distinctive, bold flavor.
How can I eat it?
Organic celery microgreens are perfect for adding to healthy cold dishes like salads. Even a small amount will add a pop of color and a unique, bold aroma.
Organic celery seeds may contain traces of soy, mustard, wheat, gluten, and grasses.
Store the seeds in a cool, ventilated place, with a temperature between 8° and 20° C, protected from atmospheric agents, changes in humidity and sunlight.
